The Bald Head Island Conservancy is also the place to be if you’re on BHI between June and September as this is the time of year when the nesting loggerhead turtles hatch and begin their journey to the ocean. During this time, you can take an awe-inspiring Turtle Walk in which you can walk right alongside the beautiful hatchlings.
